SUPERCHRIST: New Song Posted Online

January 13, 2007

American heavy metal derelicts SUPERCHRIST have posted a rough version of their new song "Fuck like a Priest" on the band's MySpace profile. The track is set to appear on the band's upcoming fifth album, "Headbanger", which is currently being mixed for an April release.

Commented SUPERCHRIST bassist/vocalist Chris "Professor" Black: "This song is a good contender for a single, if you ask me. It's got a catchy beat but plenty of fist-banging riffs to back it up. I hear the Vatican wants to release it as a limited-edition 7" to help with their legal fees."

SUPERCHRIST recently spent two weeks recording "Headbanger" in Manassas, Virginia, with engineer Matt Crooks (PHARAOH, TWISTED TOWER DIRE) manning the controls in his newly-renovated MCR Studios. Joining Chris "Professor" Black as a one-time "all-star" lineup were guitarist Ron Rokken and drummer V. Dee. Recent photos of this lineup can be seen here.

"Headbanger" features cover artwork from JP Fournier (IMMORTAL, AXIS OF ADVANCE). The final track listing for the album is as follows:

01. Black is Beautiful
02. Make Them Die
03. Electric Penis
04. Built For Sin
05. My Way is the Law
06. Eat the Evidence
07. Fuck Like a Priest
08. Wipe You Out
09. Bloody Hell
10. No Color
11. Fire Down Under (LP bonus track)
